Our Story
Founded in 2011 by Taylor Willingham, WG Title began with a unique vision. Attorney Taylor Willingham was offered a fee office opportunity because of his exceptional work in foreclosure defense. Recognizing the need for attorney-friendly title services, Taylor worked diligently to establish WG Title as a company that truly understands and supports the legal community.
With his extensive experience as a real estate, estate planning, probate, and elder law attorney, Taylor was able to build McKinney's most successful home-based title company. His deep understanding of both the legal and real estate industries allowed WG Title to provide services that truly serve the needs of attorneys and their clients.
In 2018, Jamie Ellis took over the reins as CEO and eventually became a co-owner of WG Title. Under Jamie's leadership, the company has continued to grow while maintaining the attorney-friendly approach and personalized service that Taylor established. Today, WG Title remains committed to providing exceptional title and escrow services with the same dedication to excellence that has been our foundation since 2011.
